C. Rojas, President, founded John C. Rojas, P.E. Consulting Structural
Engineer in 2000. In 1991, he obtained a degree in Architectural
(Structural) Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Following
his education, he pursued a structural engineering career in the Austin
area.
As president of ROJAS CARRILLO ASSOCIATES, INC. Consulting
Structural Engineers, Mr. Rojas is responsible for the design,
detailing, and production of structural systems for all projects in the
office. He is also responsible for management and coordination, as well as,
responsiveness to the project schedule and budget. Mr. Rojas is the founder
of the firm, bringing with him over seventeen years of experience with other
firms. Mr. Rojas has diverse and extensive background working with a
multitude of clients, a broad array of construction and building types as
well as project scope and size. He has worked with structural materials,
such as timber, structural steel, reinforced concrete, pre-cast concrete,
post-tensioned concrete, tilt-wall concrete and reinforced masonry. His
current project emphasis is on residential, mixed-use developments, office
buildings, apartment buildings, hotels, educational, healthcare, and
correctional facilities.
